Stelvio Quadrifoglio - Overview
Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is at the top of its category in terms of performance, speed, efficiency and safety thanks to a perfect mix of power and technology. The 510 HP 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo aluminium engine works together with the Q4 four-wheel-drive system to generate 176 hp/l, with a 0-100 km/h time of only 3.8 seconds. Paired with an automatic 8-speed transmission, that whilst in Race mode, changes gears in 150 milliseconds. The Alfa Cylinders' Efficient Management (CEM) and the lightweight nature of its mechanical components, such as the carbon fibre driveshaft, is what allows Stelvio Quadrifoglio to deliver unmatched levels of efficiency and balance.
The perfect 50:50 weight distribution allows the rear-wheel-drive to perform at the highest level in a front engine vehicle.
The new suspension system optimizes the filtering effect and allows for rapid and precise steering, ensuring high lateral accelerations. The rear axle utilizes a four and a half link system for high performance driving pleasure and comfort.
The ultra-lightweight frame and carbon fiber driveshaft allow for an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio with perfectly balanced weight distribution on the two axles, better steering ratio and lower overall weight.
Two electronically controlled mechanical clutches allow for an optimal torque distribution on the rear two half-axles. It delivers the best traction and control even at high speeds and on all types of road surfaces.
Thanks to the Q4 technology, the four-wheel-drive system from Alfa Romeo brings together maximum security and elevated performance. The real-time distribution of torque between the front and rear axles makes driving easier for whoever is behind the wheel as the system monitors road and traction conditions.
Lane Keeping Assist alerts the driver if the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is straying out if its lane and provides a corrective action to help automatically correct the vehicle’s path and direct it back into the lane.
Active Blind Spot Assist helps the driver prevent collisions with other vehicles that come from neighboring lanes, providing corrective steering and a visible alert on the rear view mirror.
Thanks to the combination of the Active Cruise Control and lane-centering technology, Traffic Jam Assist autonomously handles the speed of the vehicle and distance between other vehicles ahead. It also works to keep the vehicle in its lane, on both city streets and the highway.
Intelligent speed control combines the Active Cruise Control and Traffic Sign Recognition to suggest to the driver automatic changes in speed by recognizing speed limit signs.
Thanks to Traffic Sign Recognition, whoever is driving an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is informed in real-time about the changes in speed and overtaking on the road.
Driver Attention Assist analyses the vehicle's movements and monitors the time spent behind the wheel so the driver does not underestimate their tiredness during long journeys.
